“Luccas Soares, born July 24th, 1990, is a Brazilian film director, an entrepeneur and a singer/songwriter.
He started his career as an actor in 2007. In 2009 he moved to Rio de Janeiro to start a Bachelor Cinema Degree at Estacio de Sa University.
At the end of 2010 he moved to Los Angeles to keep developing his studies at New York Film Academy. After finishing his program he received an invitation to work directing a Soup Opera at Manila in the Philippines.
In 2011 Luccas traveled the world passing trough 27 countries to produce a Project called Independent Roads. The result was very successful: speeches and showcases at Festivals in Europe, Africa and Latin America during 2012 and 2013.
The world journey also gave birth to the Photographic Exhibit Untold Stories, the exhibition was sponsored by the car brand Citroen and promoted with the release of a new line of cars called DS, in Curitiba, his hometown.
Returning to Brazil in 2013 he has foudend his own artistic company, the International House of Cinema. The company works with film developments, photography and design projects.
In 2014 and 2015 he created a Project called Lage Chic (The Fancy Rooftop), which its main objective was to motivate indepedent music and to create networking among entrepeneuers, producers and artists. The project completed 14 episodes with monthly editions with different artists from independent musicians to big names in Brazil such as Jorge Vercillo and Carol Conka and 1 Festival at the end of 2015.
At the middle of 2015 he started 2 new companies: the first was the Bapho do Dragão (Dragons Breath), gastronomic entertainment business and the second one the Pet Company Jose Cuero with leather products and accessories.
Beyond the companies, Luccas is working on his new music project to release in 2017.”
